About us

We are the crew that shows up

Based on Folsom Blvd. Working Tahoe Park, East Sacramento, and Oak Park.

The work speaks for itself

Tile Installer Tahoe Park is a local trade crew operating out of the Folsom Blvd corridor in Sacramento. We focus on three neighborhoods: Tahoe Park, East Sacramento, and Oak Park. These are places we know well — the housing stock, the typical subfloor conditions, the quirks of mid-century construction that show up once demo starts.

We do not hand jobs off to subcontractors. When you call us, you are talking to the people who will actually do the work. That matters because the conversation at the estimate and the conversation on the job site are with the same crew. Nothing gets lost in translation.

Our work covers residential floors and kitchens, commercial interiors, and bathroom and shower remodels. The scope varies. The standard does not. Every job starts with honest prep — checking the substrate, confirming the layout plan, flagging anything that needs addressing before the first tile goes down.

How we think about the trade

Tile installation has a low barrier for people calling themselves installers and a high bar for people doing it correctly. The difference shows up years later, when grout starts cracking in a shower that was never properly waterproofed, or when large-format floor tiles lift because the thinset coverage was not there. We have been called in to fix work like that. We would rather not be the ones who made it.

We use industry-standard materials: modified thinset for most installs, unmodified for membrane systems, appropriate grout for the joint width and use case. We check substrate flatness before layout. We plan the tile layout on paper before anything gets cut. These are not special or unusual — they are just the job done correctly.

The neighborhoods we serve

Tahoe Park, East Sacramento, and Oak Park each have their own character. Tahoe Park has a lot of postwar construction with concrete slab floors and small room footprints. East Sacramento brings older Craftsman and Tudor homes with wood subfloors that need more prep time. Oak Park is in active renovation and we see everything from full gut rehabs to careful single-room updates.

We stay in these areas because we know them. Knowing the neighborhood means fewer surprises on the job site and faster, more accurate estimates.

What we commit to on every job

We show up when we say

If we schedule a start time, we keep it. If something changes, we call you before you are waiting at the door.

We clean up before we leave

Daily cleanup is part of the job. We do not leave tile dust and grout haze sitting overnight in your home.

We tell you what we find

If we open up a wall and find a problem, we tell you immediately. No surprises at final invoice.

We stand behind the work

If something fails because of how it was installed, we come back and fix it. That is the baseline.
